Transport for London Infrastructure Improvement Framework (IIF) | London
Amey Consulting is continuing to expand our team supporting the delivery of major Transport for London (TfL) infrastructure programmes through the Infrastructure Improvement Framework (IIF).
As our portfolio of rail and transport projects continues to grow, we are seeking experienced professionals with TfL and rail infrastructure experience to join our London team and help shape the future of one of the world's busiest and most complex transport networks.
We are particularly interested in hearing from professionals across the following disciplines and grades:

What You'll Be Working On
Our teams are delivering design, engineering and programme management solutions across a variety of TfL infrastructure programmes, helping to improve network reliability, passenger experience, operational performance and asset resilience.
Depending on your experience and discipline, you'll contribute to:
- Rail infrastructure design and engineering solutions
- Station, track and asset upgrade programmes
- Electrical and HV power system design
- Multidisciplinary design coordination
- Engineering assurance and technical governance
- Project and programme delivery management
- Digital engineering, BIM and information management
- Stakeholder engagement with TfL and supply chain partners

What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within TfL, London Underground, Network Rail or major rail infrastructure environments.
Essential Experience
- Experience delivering rail or transport infrastructure projects within a design, engineering or project management capacity
- Strong understanding of engineering assurance, safety and industry standards
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification relevant to your discipline
Desirable Experience
- Previous Transport for London (TfL) project experience
- London Underground infrastructure knowledge
- High Voltage (HV) power design experience (for E&P roles)
- Rail track design experience (for Track roles)
- BIM and digital engineering software expertise (for CAD/BIM roles)
- Professional membership and/or progression towards Chartered or Incorporated status
- Experience leading teams, work packages or multidisciplinary projects
