Project Manager – Signalling
Contract: 6 months
Rate: £463 Umbrella per day
Location: London
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of major signalling projects within a complex transport environment.
You will be responsible for delivering projects to time, budget, scope, and quality, managing budgets, schedules, risks, resources, and project reporting. The role will initially support a major signalling project in its final delivery stages, with further project responsibilities expected during the contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage projects through established governance and delivery processes.
- Manage budgets, costs, schedules, risks, resources, and reporting.
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and key internal stakeholders.
- Produce cost reports, performance reports, and project plans.
- Manage project interfaces, dependencies, and commercial matters.
- Lead and coach approximately 2–3 Assistant Project Managers.
- Ensure safe and compliant project delivery.
About You
- Proven Project Management experience within signalling, ideally in a London Underground or similar transport environment.
- Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost-control experience.
- Experience managing external contractors and suppliers.
- Experience delivering high-value projects within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 is beneficial but not essential.
