Job Summary

Based at the JNF UK head office in North West London, the Raiser's Edge Database Manager plays a pivotal role at an exciting time for the charity. We have ambitious plans for growth, and the way we understand, engage and steward our supporters sits at the heart of them. Raiser's Edge NXT is the engine behind that ambition, and the Database Manager is the person who keeps it running well and helps it reach its full potential.

As Database Manager you will hold overall responsibility for the management, integrity and ongoing development of our Raiser's Edge NXT CRM. It is a hands-on role that calls for strong technical expertise and close attention to detail, alongside the ability to turn data into insight that shapes fundraising across the organisation.

You will safeguard the accuracy and security of the database, lead improvements to processes and workflows, and support fundraising and marketing through effective segmentation and reporting, while maintaining full compliance with GDPR and Gift Aid requirements. Working closely with senior leadership, consultants and system providers, you will bring together the people, data and systems that allow us to grow with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Database Management & Integrity

  • Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and security of Raiser’s Edge / NXT
  • Conduct regular audits and quality control checks to eliminate inconsistencies
  • Lead data standardisation efforts for campaign assignments, constituent records, and financial reconciliation
  • Implement de-duplication protocols and improve data entry processes.

Project Management & CRM Optimisation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
