Raiser’s Edge CRM & Database Manager
London, hybrid | Permanent | Full-time
We are supporting an established UK not-for-profit organisation who are looking for an experienced Raiser’s Edge specialist to take ownership of its fundraising CRM and wider database capability.
Sitting at the centre of fundraising, supporter engagement and reporting, you will be responsible for ensuring Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT is accurate, effective and continually evolving to meet the needs of the organisation.
This is a role for someone who likes to combine the bigger picture with the detail. You will help shape the future direction of the CRM while remaining hands-on with data quality, segmentation, reporting, processes, integrations and day-to-day system management.
What will you be responsible for?
Working across fundraising, marketing and finance, you will become the go-to person for Raiser’s Edge / NXT and take the lead on improving how the organisation manages and uses its supporter data.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the ongoing administration, maintenance and security of Raiser’s Edge / NXT.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the CRM and developing a structured roadmap for future enhancements.
- Improving data quality through auditing, cleansing, standardisation and de-duplication.
- Creating effective processes around data entry, campaigns, appeals and reporting.
- Producing selections and audience segmentation to support fundraising and email activity.
- Developing reporting and analysis that provides meaningful insight into fundraising performance.
- Identifying opportunities for greater automation and more efficient financial processes.
- Managing CRM integrations and relationships with Blackbaud, external consultants and other suppliers.
- Supporting users through training, documentation and ongoing guidance.
- Maintaining strong standards around GDPR, PECR and HMRC Gift Aid requirements, including the management of invalid Gift Aid records.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
