RAN Deployment & Integration Engineer
Role Overview:
Ekiva is seeking a RAN Deployment & Integration Engineer with strong LTE/5G experience to support deployment, commissioning, integration and troubleshooting of multi-vendor RAN networks.
The ideal candidate should have experience delivering Mobile Network, Private 5G and Enterprise Wireless Network deployments.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Install and integrate RAN equipment including:
- Baseband Units (BBU)
- Indoor Radio Units (IRU)
- Radio Dots
- Remote Radio Units (RRU/RRH)
- 5G Radio Units
- Perform radio commissioning and integration.
- Configure:
- Cells
- Frequencies
- Radio parameters
- Network features
- Perform radio software loading and upgrades.
- Validate:
- Synchronisation
- Coverage
- Mobility
- Connectivity
- Support:
- ATP execution
- Acceptance testing
- Customer handover
- Troubleshoot:
- RAN alarms
- Hardware issues

What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years experience in LTE/5G RAN deployment and integration.
- Hands-on experience with:
- 4G LTE
- 5G NR
- Private 5G RAN
- Mobile Network deployments
- Experience with RAN vendors including:
- Ericsson
- Nokia
- Samsung
- Huawei
- Open RAN platforms
- Equivalent solutions
- Strong knowledge of:
- RAN commissioning
- Cell configuration
- Radio integration
- RAN troubleshooting
- Performance validation
- Understanding of:
- 5G architecture
- Network slicing
- Open RAN concepts
- Experience working with:
- Customers
- Vendors
- Deployment partners
- Ability to manage technical issues during deployment.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- All applicants must be UK Residents with the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor visa applications.
- Full-time on site in Egham, ability to commute.
