Deployment Lead/Specialist

Location: Newbury
Hybrid 1-2 days onsite per week

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of RAN sites from nomination through to transfer to operations within a Region
  • Collaborate with delivery partners to design, acquire, build and activate RAN sites, ensuring sites are delivered to plan and budget
  • Engage with supporting teams and stakeholders to ensure successful site delivery aligned to project, programme and business objectives
  • Ensure our organisation and delivery partners comply with all Health & Safety obligations, policies and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in working in RAN Deployment programmes, utilising multiple contracts and agreements, across a range of suppliers and delivery partners
  • Technical expertise in one or more of the key elements of site deployment – design, acquisition and/or build
  • Understanding and experience of our obligations in relation to health, safety and passionate about quality and right-first time approach
  • Experience of building relationships across teams and in a wider community of other leaders and managers
  • Ability to lead, make decisions, problem solve and collaborate with other teams
  • Experience of using data and insight to make informed decisions, solve problems and input to operational and strategic plans

KPIs

  • Ensuring partners/suppliers are delivering to their agreed plan and collaborate with them to address issues which put that plan at risk
  • Ensuring processes are well defined and in place to manage interdependencies between partners, resolving any escalations that arise
  • Ensuring governance and reliable reporting is in place to manage delivery and to communicate progress/issues into the wider organisation and to dependent partner organisations
  • Managing site costs against budget and forecasts
  • Ensuring partners and suppliers adhere to H&S standards, report against performance and achieve targets
