About the Role
Do you love seeing a project come together and enjoy getting stuck into hands-on work? We're looking for a practical and adaptable Range & Format Project Co-ordinator to join our Operations team at East of England Co-op.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in bringing our stores to life, supporting exciting new store openings and refits across our family of businesses. From merchandising stock and moving equipment to helping store teams get ready for trading, you'll be right at the heart of the action.
Working across multiple store locations, you'll collaborate with our store teams, Central Operations and external partners to ensure projects run smoothly and our stores are ready to welcome customers. This is a 10-month fixed-term contract offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to make a visible difference.

What You'll Be Doing
- Support the delivery of new store openings and refits, helping ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Merchandise stock in line with space plans and planograms, ensuring products are correctly positioned and ready for customers.
- Coordinate the movement of stock, fixtures and equipment between store locations.
- Support store teams through project handovers, ensuring a smooth transition into day-to-day trading.
- Provide practical operational support to stores, adapting to changing priorities and resolving challenges as they arise.
- Work closely with the Range & Format Delivery Manager, Central Operations and external partners to keep projects on track.
What you'll need
- Previous retail experience, ideally within store operations or merchandising.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive a van or Transit van.
- A practical, hands-on approach with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations.
- Confidence in adapting to changing priorities and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to follow store layouts, planograms and merchandising plans.
- Flexibility to accommodate early starts, late finishes and occasional weekend work when required.
