I'm working with a leading international law firm to recruit a Rates Administrator to join its Leeds-based finance operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional or a graduate to build a career within a global legal environment, supporting fee rate administration, billing processes and data accuracy across an international business.

The firm has a strong international presence, a highly regarded reputation in legal and professional services, and a collaborative culture built around quality, integrity and continuous improvement. You will join a supportive team that values accuracy, ownership and proactive communication.

The Role

Reporting to the Rates Supervisor, you will support the administration of fee rate queries across the firm, helping to maintain accurate rate information, manage internal queries and ensure processes are followed consistently. The role will suit someone with strong attention to detail, excellent data entry skills and an interest in finance operations within a professional services setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data collection projects, ensuring non-standard charge-out rates, discounts and agreed fee arrangements are accurately recorded and maintained.
  • Support the transfer and maintenance of billing rules and rate sets within internal finance systems, ensuring consistency across the wider group.
  • Monitor tasks against agreed service levels, providing regular updates and escalating issues where required.
  • Review agreed rates to help ensure terms are being followed correctly.
  • Support global discount requests by preparing accurate information and supporting materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the eBilling team to ensure annual rates are uploaded to relevant platforms.
  • Manage a centralised mailbox, responding to queries within agreed timeframes.
  • Assist with rate and timekeeper administration to support a smooth end-to-end billing process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
