Job Title: Rates Structurer
Location: London
Corporate Title: Associate/VP
Join Deutsche Bank's Rates Structuring team in London, where you will work alongside Sales and Trading to deliver innovative derivative, structured note and financing solutions for institutional clients across EMEA, supporting a broad range of investment and risk management objectives.
As a Rates Structurer, you will help design, structure and execute transactions for insurance companies, pension funds, asset managers, banks, and other financial institutions, combining market expertise with a deep understanding of client objectives and constraints. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to structure and execute tailored solutions, contributing across the full transaction lifecycle from idea generation and analysis through to pricing, documentation and execution. You will also play a key role in developing new products and client solutions to help grow a market-leading rates franchise.

Your key responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Trading and other stakeholders to evaluate, develop and execute client solutions across derivatives, structured notes and financing transactions
- Prepare client materials, market analysis and transaction proposals to support client engagement and business development activities
- Participate in client meetings, presentations and discussions, helping to communicate complex ideas and develop solutions tailored to client needs
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations and other infrastructure functions to facilitate transaction approval and execution processes
- Contribute to strategic projects, product development initiatives and thematic opportunities across the rates franchise
Your skills and experience
- Experience in a structuring role within an investment bank, with exposure to institutional clients
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex transactions and develop bespoke client solutions
- Good understanding of financial markets, derivatives, market regulations and transaction documentation
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across clients and internal stakeholders
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
