A leading independent firm of Chartered Surveyors is looking to expand its specialist Rating team due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work. Your New Role
You will join a well-established Rating team, advising a diverse range of commercial clients on business rates, liabilities, appeals, and valuation matters. Working across a varied property portfolio, you will play a key role in helping clients minimize costs and maximize value. Key responsibilities will include:

- Managing business rates appeals and negotiations.
- Reviewing rating assessments and identifying appeal opportunities.
- Conducting property inspections and valuation analysis.
- Preparing reports and providing strategic advice to clients.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting wider professional services and valuation work where required.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Degree qualified in Real Estate, Surveying, Property, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in rating, valuation, general practice, or another commercial property discipline is advantageous.
- MRICS qualified, APC enrolled, or looking to pursue chartership.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A proactive approach and genuine interest in building a career within rating consultancy.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
