Our plant in South Kirkby is looking for a Raw Material Coordinator.

What your job includes

  • To review Raw Material against the Specification that we buy against.
  • Updating supplier specification as and when required to maintain current approved raw material specification along with the technical team.
  • Factory based role that will proactively work to ensure the correct quality of raw material is used to deliver customers' specification.
  • Reporting all findings, both positive and negative, to the Technical Manager, Commercial and Operational Teams and communicating with suppliers.
  • Over time the principle of the role is to improve the general quality of all Raw Material that is used on site.

What we expect from you

  • Strong butchery knowledge across Beef, Lamb, and Pork
  • Experience working within food manufacturing
  • Good planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to identify errors in data or written information
  • Food Safety Level 2
  • HACCP, VACCP, TACCP
