Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday–Thursday, 08:00–16:30 | Friday, 08:00–14:00
The Opportunity
Dalkia is looking for an experienced and motivated RCA Supervisor to join our team at Sizewell B.
In this role, you'll provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of personnel working within the Radiological Controlled Area (RCA), ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with company, site and radiological requirements.
You'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and performance, while supporting the development of your team and driving continuous improvement across the RCA.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, lead and allocate work to RCA personnel, monitoring performance and standards.
- Act as Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) and Field Supervisor, with training provided.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety, radiological and environmental requirements.
- Provide radiological advice, guidance and support to personnel working within the RCA.
- Prepare and review risk assessments and RAMS, ensuring appropriate PPE and controls are in place.
- Carry out workplace inspections, safety checks and field-based observations, challenging unsafe practices where necessary.
- Ensure team members are suitably trained, briefed and competent to undertake their roles.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, contamination control and working practices.
- Plan and manage daily workloads using site systems including AMS and Maximo, with training provided.
- Respond effectively to reactive work through the site helpdesk.
- Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and safety communications.
- Monitor and address performance, safety and operational issues, escalating where appropriate.
- Support incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned.
- Maintain effective communication with management, Radiation Protection and client representatives.
- Complete required audits, coaching and field visits.
- Support station shutdowns/outages as required, including extended hours and working days during these periods.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement within the RCA.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, supporting team members with their development and progression.
- Complete relevant training and development to meet the evolving requirements of the role and contract.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience supervising or managing teams in an industrial or similar environment.
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to make sound decisions and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Experience in industrial cleaning, radiological environments or a similar regulated industry is desirable.
- The ability to produce clear, accurate and comprehensive risk assessments and RAMS.
- A proactive approach to safety, team development and continuous improvement.
