About the role
The role is to provide project leadership and support to the development pipeline for the Air Wick, as a 12 month contract position. The role comprises managing existing innovation projects, this includes internal and external development partners and relationships & key stakeholders within the Vestacy organisation. The role will report to the Head of Air Care who will provide guidance and support. This role will also require close relationships between Global and local regulatory, safety and sustainability teams to ensure compliance across our portfolio.

Your responsibilities
- A pro-active, entrepreneurial approach to engage with the cross-functional category leads and key R&D colleagues, adopting an integrated, agile mindset, as a critical partner within our multi-category strategic innovation stream and deliver the innovation pipeline.
- Management of planning and execution of multi-format innovation pipeline.
- Support end-to-end execution of the roles portfolio responsibilities on innovation and deliver to market with appropriate support across key stake holders and development partners.
- Aligned with manager support new / refinement and amendment development briefs for innovation pipeline ensuring best practice briefing principles are followed to deliver optimal delivery from our Fragrance House partners and internal teams.
- Ensure all briefing and recommendations comply with latest Vestacy safety and regulatory requirements, partnering closely with functional experts for a right first time approach and partner with our global core Fragrance House contract principles.
- Collaborate within the total fragrance development team and R&D partners to ensure best practice sensory, consumer and performance testing is utilized when validating new fragrances / formats.
- Work closely with Fragrance Innovation manager, Consumer Science, R&D and Global MKT design teams for rapid pipeline roll-out.
- Support Vestacy fragrance team, including fragrance evaluation and olfactive performance over the course of product stability, coordination, project timeline management as well as – including safety paperwork, olfactive triangles, presentations, project reviews and time line planning etc.

The experience we're looking for
- Minimum 2 to 3 years + experience within a Flavour or Fragrance House and/or 3 years + experience working within FMCG environment working on global brands, innovation or product development. Ideally with experience applying product innovation, preferably within a fragrance or flavour led brand - for consumers across both developed and developing markets.
- 2 to 3 years + of proven Project Management experience within a cross-functional, international and multi-cultural environment.
- Sensory evaluation experience of fragranced products ideally with personal care and/ or home fragrance and/ or laundry.
- Strong influencing, networking, partnership and communication skills.
- Business experience including commercial/marketing strategy, consumer understanding and sensory testing.
