About The Role
The R&D LIMS Master Data Entry Assistant operates within the Global R&D Enabling Capabilities function, supporting the effective implementation, maintenance, and governance of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) across R&D product development and quality control laboratories. The role contributes to ensuring that LIMS platforms are populated with accurate, consistent, and compliant master data to support laboratory operations, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. The position works closely with site Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), MasterData Leads, and the wider LIMS programme team.

Your responsibilities
- Collaborate with local site SMEs and Master Data Leads to identify, define, and agree required LIMS master data records.
- Create and maintain master data records within LIMS and associated data management tools, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment to global standards.
- Coordinate and support master data review cycles, including peer reviews and stakeholder validation activities.
- Participate in and support master data “dry runs” to validate data completeness and usability ahead of system testing or deployment.
- Review and quality-check master data records created by other team members, identifying issues and ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain a strong focus on data quality, compliance, and audit readiness in line with GMP and internal governance requirements.
- Meet project timelines and delivery milestones while maintaining the highest standards of data integrity
The experience we're looking for
- High level of proficiency in computer usage, including data entry and working within structured data systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and omissions in complex datasets.
- Proven ability to work independently, showing initiative and accountability for assigned tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency while maintaining a high standard of quality and compliance.
- Previous experience or working knowledge of an FMCG and/or GMP-regulated environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to support data reviews and stakeholder interactions.
