Are you an R&D Scientist who enjoys turning complex scientific ideas into practical technology?
Looking for a hands-on role where you can experiment, solve technical problems and help shape new products?
Our client is looking for an R&D Scientist to join a multidisciplinary technical team and contribute to research and product development from early-stage concepts through to testing and deployment.

About You
Our client would love to hear from scientists with experience in areas such as:
- Physics, optics, photonics or a related technical discipline
- Post PhD research experience
- Experimental or applied R&D
- Laser-based technologies
- Optical systems, waveguides or fibre technologies
- Python and/or MATLAB
- Translating complex technical findings into clear, practical outcomes
You do not need to tick every box. Relevant or transferable scientific experience is very welcome.

Package
- Salary: £45,000+ depending on experience
- Working: Full-time with flexible/hybrid working where appropriate
- Benefits: Bonus, share options, private medical cover, pension contributions, enhanced family leave, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and professional development support.
