R&D Tax Consultant

Location: London
Work arrangement: On-site

Compensation:

The role

You'll work across a varied portfolio of clients and industries, giving you exposure to different types of R&D activity and a wide range of client projects.

You'll have exposure to:

  • Supporting the delivery of R&D Tax claims across a broad client portfolio.
  • Working directly with clients to understand their R&D activities and identify qualifying projects.
  • Taking part in technical discussions and client interviews.
  • Developing your skills in preparing and delivering high-quality R&D Tax claims.
  • Building your understanding of both the technical and financial costing aspects of claims.
  • Working across the 360 R&D Tax process and developing a broader understanding of the full claim lifecycle.
  • Working closely with experienced consultants and learning from a highly collaborative team.
  • Gaining exposure to a variety of clients, from innovative start-ups through to larger, established and FTSE-listed businesses.
  • Taking on greater ownership as your knowledge and confidence develops.

The team has a strong track record of developing successful R&D Tax Consultants into genuinely 360 professionals, making this a great environment for someone who wants to keep learning and build a long-term career in the sector.

What you'll need

  • Ideally 1-2 years' experience working in R&D Tax, although we're very open to candidates looking to make the move into the sector.
  • A scientific background and relevant qualification is essential.
  • Based in London and comfortable working on-site.
