A leading professional services firm is currently looking to appoint an experienced R&D Tax Director to join its explaining team in London.
This is a high profile opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to play a key role in driving growth, winning new business, developing client relationships and helping to shape the future of a fast-expanding practice.
As a director, you will be vital in growing the practice by identifying relationships and delivering commercially focused R&D tax advice. You will work closely with partners and other service lines, leveraging an extensive client base while helping to develop new opportunities across multiple sectors including technology, manufacturing, engineering, life sciences and innovation-led businesses.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex R&D tax advisory engagements
- Develop and maintain senior client relationships
- Identify opportunities with existing clients and broader market networks
- Drive business development activity and generate new revenue opportunities
- Identify opportunities within existing clients and broader market networks
- Collaborate with corporate tax, innovation incentives, technology and wider advisory teams.
- Lead, mentor and develop a growing team of R&D professionals.
- Act as a trusted adviser to clients on innovation-related tax matters.

About you:
- A commercial mindset and ambition to help build a market-leading practice.
- Significant R&D Tax advisory experience gained within a professional services environment.
- Proven business development and client relationship management skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK R&D Tax legislation and incentives.
