Reablement Scheduler (FTC)

The Reablement Service supports adults across West Northamptonshire to maintain their independence and continue living safely in their own homes. Behind every successful visit is a dedicated Scheduling Team, working closely with frontline staff and managers to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Our Schedulers play a crucial role in coordinating staffing resources, managing daily schedules and responding to changing service demands. Their work helps ensure residents receive the right support at the right time, making a real difference to people's lives every day.

This is a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. If you enjoy organising people, solving problems and adapting to changing priorities, you'll thrive as part of our team.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Scheduler to join our Reablement Service on a fixed-term contract until 15 November 2027.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating staff rotas, allocating visits, responding to service changes and ensuring resources are utilised effectively. You'll liaise regularly with frontline colleagues, managers and partner services, providing an efficient and responsive scheduling function that supports the smooth delivery of services across the community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities and making a real contribution to the delivery of frontline services.

This role requires someone who can balance competing priorities, maintain accurate records and communicate confidently with a wide range of people. You'll be using a variety of systems to update schedules, monitor staffing availability and support the day-to-day operation of a busy service.

Working 33.5 hours per week (inc Bank hols), this fully office-based role at Ecton Brook, NN3, is an integral part of our operational team. The position operates on a 4-week rolling rota, including alternate weekend working, with shifts worked between 7:00am and 5:30pm (staggered start times, from 7:00am to 9:00am).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
