Job Introduction

We are looking for a Reablement Support Worker to work mornings within The Bradford Reablement Service for Bradford Metropolitan District Council in all areas of the Bradford district.

17.5 hours average per week.

These roles are an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

The Main Responsibilities Of This Role

  • Re-able individuals in community settings
  • To support with daily living tasks
  • Document accurate records on digital devices
  • Support with personal cares
  • Support individuals to regain independence
  • Treat individuals with dignity and respect

Service provision operates on a 2-week rolling rota as follows:

  • Week one: Monday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week two: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

The work schedule is 07:30 hrs to 12.30 hrs on each of these days; we are unable to condense hours into fewer working days.

Driving licence

You will need a full UK (manual) driving licence for these roles. (Transport is provided).

Qualification

You must possess a (minimum) RCF (regulated qualifications framework) level 2 diploma in health and social care or equivalent (QCF/NVQ). If you are not qualified you will not be shortlisted.

An Enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
