Are you ready to make a real impact? As a Reablement Worker in our Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START), you will provide essential support to adults in their own homes. Your role will focus on helping individuals regain their independence after illness or crisis, ensuring they feel valued and respected every step of the way.
In This Hands-on Role, You Will
- Support adults with personal care, mobility, transfers, nutrition, and medication.
- Encourage independence through tailored support plans.
- Collaborate with therapists and managers to ensure safe and effective care.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to your team.
- Communicate sensitively and professionally with people.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to health and safety policies.

To Thrive In This Role, You Will Need
- A QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or a willingness to work towards it).
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for home visits.
- Basic knowledge of safe working practices and dignity in care.

- Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Are flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
- Can handle conflict and challenging situations with grace.
Please note that shifts are 4 days on and 4 days off, and we provide a service every day of the year between 7am and 10pm.
