The Staffing Network - Reach Truck Driver Opportunity
The Staffing Network is looking for an experienced Reach Truck driver to work on a temp to perm role for our client based in Stanford-Le-Hope, the work will be based in a chilled and frozen environment, with a 6am start.
DUTIES:
- Unload vehicles, locate goods in the warehouse, complete all associated paperwork relating to inbound and outbound throughput and load vehicles in accordance with delivery manifests, within the timescale set in order to support the operation in achieving the contractual KPIs
- Complete goods received paperwork and pass to Warehouse Administrator for entry onto stock control system
- Move goods to designated warehouse location as directed by Warehouse Team Leader
- Pick goods from Warehouse and marshall in loading area
- Load vehicle in accordance with delivery manifest; ensuring load contents are logged and passed to Warehouse Administrator
- Operate company equipment in a safe and proper fashion
- Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with current legislation, company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehousing environment
- High communication skills to effectively converse with colleagues, customers, and line leaders
- Flexibility in working various shifts including rotational, fixed, and weekend hours
- The ability to be able to operate a RDT and computer
- High performance working under pressure
- Team Player
- Reach, Counterbalance licences
