About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team at Mphasis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications leveraging Python and React.js. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA professionals to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in microservices architecture, REST API development, and cloud-native application deployment, with a focus on enterprise-scale environments, particularly within the financial services or banking sectors.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Essential qualifications include strong proficiency in Python, experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. Experience with MongoDB is preferred. A deep understanding of front-end technologies including React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Redux, and React Hooks is required, along with responsive UI development skills. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Additional preferred qualifications include experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, and unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or Jest. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or within cross-functional teams are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using Python and React.js. You will build scalable RESTful APIs and backend services that support enterprise-grade applications. Developing responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces will be a key focus, ensuring optimal user experience across devices. Collaboration is central to this role, requiring effective communication with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time. You will optimize application performance, security, and scalability, adhering to best practices and industry standards. Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality, and maintaining documentation are integral parts of your responsibilities. You will troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within an Agile/Scrum environment. Additionally, you will stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into projects to enhance functionality and efficiency.
