Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of three years of commercial experience working with React.js and related web technologies. A strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is essential. Experience with modern frameworks such as Next.js, Blazor, and familiarity with integrating third-party APIs is required. Knowledge of Azure cloud services, SQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines will be advantageous. Candidates should also be familiar with API testing tools like Postman and Swagger, and have experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical attributes for this position.

Desirable skills include experience with Laravel, C#, Knockout.js, and ServiceNow. Candidates with prior experience working within a fast-paced SME environment will have an added advantage. A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies will help you thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

As a React Frontend Developer, your core responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining scalable, high-quality web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks such as Next.js.
• Designing and implementing intuitive, engaging user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
• Integrating front-end components with APIs, databases, and cloud-based services to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborating with back-end developers to deliver cohesive client-server interactions.
• Developing new features and enhancing existing functionalities across various platforms, including customer-facing and internal systems.
• Ensuring software quality through automated testing, unit testing, and integration testing practices.
• Participating actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues promptly.
• Conducting code reviews and engaging in technical discussions to promote best practices.
• Driving continuous improvements in development tools, processes, architecture, and documentation.
• Working closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
