This role links directly to our Apps Team, which builds modern, multi-brand platforms for our world-class media portfolio. What you'll do
Reporting to the Tech Lead, you'll work on both green-field projects and the improvement of our core mobile app platform. Reporting directly to the Tech Lead (Mobile Apps), you'll partner with Senior Developers to build scalable, well-structured software components. You'll use React Native and TypeScript to deliver high-quality features while working closely with our QA teams to implement automated testing. Your daily work will directly enhance the user experience and performance of our mobile products across iOS and Android.

- Develop and maintain scalable mobile app components using React Native and TypeScript.
- Review team members' code to provide constructive, growth-focused feedback.
- Write and implement automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure quality.
- Collaborate with QA and technical leads to apply the most effective testing frameworks.
- Participate in regular team hack days to prototype innovative approaches and explore new tools.
- Refactor existing software to constantly improve developer experience and service efficiency.
What you’ll bring
- Practical experience in mobile app development for both iOS and Android.
- Solid understanding of React, React Native, and TypeScript fundamentals.
- Experience building applications that support diverse themes and functional requirements.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering user-friendly mobile interfaces.
- Clear communication skills to share technical insights with non-technical team members.
- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git, for team-based collaborations.
