Reactive Supervisor

FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Reactive Supervisor to join our Term Maintenance division. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the work stream is managed to a high standard. You will lead and manage a team of Operatives and Team Leaders, whilst supporting the Contracts Manager by reviewing workloads and allocation of resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in budget. This is a permanent, full-time working on the Lewisham contract.

Duties of the Reactive Supervisor role:

  • Ensuring the smooth running of works through regular liaising with the client, employees and subcontractors
  • Writing specific programmes of work and updating when required
  • Raising technical queries and ensuring their resolution and communicating all relevant information is shared with the team
  • Ordering plant and materials to support the programme of works
  • Ensuring that the highest level of health and safety is always maintained

Skills and experience required:

  • A dedicated and motivated Reactive Supervisor with previous experience in the highways or construction industry.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ideally have experience in NEC, JCT or ICE contracts.
  • Hold a CSCS card and SSSTS.
  • Ability to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
