We're looking for a Junior Service Manager with approximately 18 months to 2 years of experience within Service Delivery, Service Management, Operations, PMO, Technical Support, Customer Success, or a similar environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who already has experience supporting services, stakeholders, and operational processes and is looking to accelerate their career within Service Management.
Working within a Shared Services environment, you'll support the delivery and continuous improvement of IT and business services, helping to ensure service levels are met and customers receive an excellent experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of IT and business services to agreed service levels
- Monitoring and reporting on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Assisting with the coordination of incident, problem, and change management activities
- Supporting service review and governance meetings
- Producing service reports and performance updates for stakeholders
- Communicating effectively with delivery teams and internal stakeholders
- Escalating issues and risks where appropriate
- Identifying opportunities for service improvements
- Supporting service transition and operational change activities
- Building positive working relationships with stakeholders and delivery teams
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and service performance

Essential Skills & Attributes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of Service Management or Service Delivery concepts
- Experience producing reports or analysing performance data
- Experience supporting operational or business processes
- Awareness of ITIL principles
- Experience working with SLAs and KPIs
- Exposure to incident, problem, or change management activities
- Experience supporting technology, operational, or managed services environments
- Experience working within a structured service delivery function

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Be SC Eligible
- Have a minimum of five years' UK residency
- Have no absences of more than 30 consecutive days outside of the UK during that five-year period
- Be based in Newcastle or within a one-hour commute, or be willing to relocate (relocation budget provided)
- Be willing to work in the office minimum three days per week
