The Role

The private credit fund is hiring a Real Estate Asset Management Associate to join its real estate team in London (hybrid). The team also has members based in Madrid and Milan, and the fund states flexibility on location for this hire, subject to the candidate having the right to work in the relevant country.

The private credit fund manages €40bn in assets under management and provides debt, equity, and hybrid capital solutions to corporates and real asset owners.

The associate will work within the asset management team across real estate investments spanning the capital structure and multiple asset classes, including shopping centres, offices, hospitality, and residential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of each asset's business plan by translating strategy into annual objectives and monitoring progress
  • Oversee and manage operating partners across the portfolio, define annual targets, and review performance
  • Establish reporting standards and review periodic reporting for each deal
  • Prepare periodic reports for investors, lenders, and senior management
  • Participate in arranging bank financing and optimising leverage
  • Liaise with technical advisors, valuers, property managers, and legal counsel on asset-level decisions and risk assessment
  • Support capex, refurbishment, and leasing initiatives, including business case preparation
  • Contribute to ESG monitoring and reporting across the portfolio
  • Support valuations and portfolio reviews
  • Contribute to enhancing the team's data analytics capabilities

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate asset management, investment banking (leveraged finance or M&A), private equity, credit, or direct lending
  • Strong quantitative, financial modelling, and analytics skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken; additional European languages are beneficial
  • Strong academic background, ideally in Finance, Economics, or Business
  • Right to work in London, Madrid, or Milan
