Junior Real Estate Solicitor
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior Real Estate Solicitor to join a leading national practice in Cambridge, with a particular focus on high-quality development work.
Responsibilities
- Assist on significant development projects, including acquisitions, disposals and strategic land arrangements.
- Prepare and negotiate option agreements, conditional contracts, promotion agreements and related property documents.
- Undertake title reviews, property due diligence, searches and pre-contract enquiries, providing clear reports on key issues.
- Support a wider spread of commercial property work, including leases, agreements for lease and other landlord and tenant matters.
- Work closely with clients and colleagues across planning, construction and other specialist teams to progress transactions efficiently.

Requirements
- A qualified solicitor with up to 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), with relevant commercial real estate experience.
- A good technical foundation in property law and a genuine interest in building expertise in development work.
- Confident drafting, communication and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to detail.
- An organised approach to managing competing deadlines and taking responsibility for individual workstreams.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with an interest in using legal technology to improve service delivery.
