Remote Real Estate Lawyer – Associate (3+ Years' PQE)
Leeds | Permanent, Full or Part Time | Competitive Salary
Work Where You Work Best
Looking for a real estate career that fits around your life, not the other way round? This is a genuinely flexible role. Work primarily from home, with travel to the Leeds office just twice a month (agreed according to your experience), or choose to be office-based if you prefer. You'll enjoy more certainty and control over your hours, without stepping back from high-quality work.
The Opportunity
We're appointing several Associates to each act as the dedicated legal resource for one major client. Instead of juggling dozens of unrelated matters, you'll focus on a single client, learning their business inside out, building trusted relationships and developing real sector expertise, all with the backing, training and career development of a leading international law firm.
You'll join a new and progressive delivery team model, using innovative ways of working to deliver real value.
What You'll Do
- Act as the go-to legal contact for a key client, working within a structured delivery model supported by the wider firm
- Manage your own caseload: drafting and negotiating leases, ancillary property documents, tenant due diligence enquiries and lease management applications
- Oversee transactions through to completion and keep matter records up to date, including WIP, billing and write-offs
- Supervise and support junior lawyers and paralegals across lettings and property management matters
- Build strong relationships with the client and external advisers, and take part in client engagement activities
- Share best practice with the wider client account team and help drive process improvements

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
