Real Estate Development Associate / Senior Associate | 4+ PQE

Commercial Property | Highly Flexible Working | Birmingham

I'm currently working with a highly regarded UK law firm that is continuing to invest in and grow its Real Estate practice, and they're looking to add an experienced Real Estate / Commercial Property Associate at 4+ PQE.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys high-quality development work and wants to work on large-scale regeneration and development projects, alongside a broader commercial property caseload.

The team acts for a strong mix of public and private sector clients, advising on some genuinely high-profile projects across the UK.

The opportunity

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Advise on major real estate development and regeneration projects
  • Work across a broad range of commercial property matters
  • Take a leading role on transactions and work directly with clients
  • Develop your expertise alongside highly experienced senior lawyers
  • Build relationships with a strong national client base
  • Get involved in business development and develop your own profile
  • Work collaboratively across the wider Real Estate and Projects teams
  • Progress within a growing practice with genuine long-term opportunities

About you

The team is open to lawyers coming from a Commercial Property, Real Estate or Development background.

You'll ideally have:

  • 4+ years' PQE
  • Strong experience across commercial property and/or development work
  • Good drafting and negotiation skills
  • Confidence dealing directly with clients
  • A commercial, pragmatic approach
  • An interest in developing your own client relationships and network
  • The ambition to progress within a growing team
