About Fowles & Partners
Fowles & Partners is a growing real estate brokerage and advisory business working across the hospitality and healthcare sectors. Our work includes property disposals and acquisitions, financing and refinancing, valuations, operator and brand introductions, development opportunities, and the launch of new hospitality and healthcare projects across the UK. We work closely with hotel owners, investors, developers, lenders, operators, and international hotel brands, as well as organisations involved in the delivery of hospitals, health centres, GP facilities, and NHS Community Diagnostic Centres. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for someone ambitious to work closely alongside the Managing Director and become involved across the full brokerage and transaction process.
The Role
This is not a traditional administrative position. We are looking for someone who wants to build a career within real estate, brokerage, investment, or development and gain direct exposure to live transactions and projects. You will work closely with the Managing Director across hospitality and healthcare real estate, helping to manage opportunities from early discussions through to marketing, negotiations, due diligence, and completion. The role will combine commercial property work, client interaction, research, transaction support, marketing, and some administration. There will also be regular travel throughout the UK to visit client properties, hotels, development sites, and healthcare projects.
What You’ll Be Involved In
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting property disposals and acquisitions across hospitality and healthcare real estate
- Assisting with financing and refinancing opportunities
- Researching buyers, investors, lenders, operators, and potential clients
- Supporting valuation work, comparable research, yield analysis, and financial appraisals
- Preparing property information, investment summaries, and client presentations
- Coordinating NDAs, data rooms, due diligence information, and transaction documents
- Managing and updating deal pipelines and client information
- Attending property inspections and client meetings across the UK
- Helping organise and conduct property viewings
- Taking property photography and video where required
- Assisting with brochures, marketing material, and social media content
- Helping prepare new properties and projects for market
- Supporting hotel franchise and brand opportunities
- Coordinating information and administration around new hotel franchise launches
- Attending meetings with hotel brands, operators, owners, and developers
- Gaining exposure to groups such as Radisson, Marriott, IHG, and other international hospitality brands
- Supporting healthcare real estate projects including hospitals, health centres, GP facilities, and NHS Community Diagnostic Centres
- Helping coordinate discussions between property owners, healthcare operators, investors, developers, and other stakeholders
- Assisting with new business development and identifying new opportunities
- Supporting the Managing Director with day-to-day transaction and project administration

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Travel
This role will involve regular travel throughout the UK. You may occasionally need to stay overnight when visiting client properties or attending meetings. All reasonable business travel costs will be covered by Fowles & Partners, including rail, flights, mileage/car travel, and accommodation where required. Where appropriate, this may include staying at client hotels while attending site visits or meetings.
Working Style
The role is remote and is intended to offer genuine flexibility. Ideally, we are looking for someone based in London or within easy reach of London due to the number of clients, investors, brands, and meetings we have in and around the capital. We are also not a traditional 9–5 business. We are much more focused on results than watching the clock. If you start at 10 am and finish at 4 pm on a quieter day, that is not something we are concerned about. Equally, there will occasionally be busier periods where transactions or client requirements may need extra attention. Our main expectation is simple: that we deliver for our clients, keep projects moving, and do what we say we are going to do. Trust, flexibility, and personal responsibility are very important to us.
Who We’re Looking For
We are open-minded about background and experience. You may already be working within:
- Commercial real estate
- Property brokerage or agency
- Hotel brokerage
- Property investment
- Property finance
- Hospitality development
- Hotel operations or brand development
- Healthcare real estate
- Valuation or surveying
Alternatively, you may be earlier in your career and looking for an opportunity to gain much broader exposure than you would normally receive in a traditional graduate role.
The most important thing is your attitude and ambition.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Ambitious and keen to build a career in real estate
- Highly organised
- Commercially minded
- Confident speaking with clients and senior decision-makers
- Comfortable travelling independently
- Professional and personable
- Numerate and comfortable working with financial information
- A strong written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable using technology, social media, and digital platforms
- Able to manage several projects at the same time
- Proactive rather than waiting to be given every instruction
- Interested in hospitality and healthcare property
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment

Experience with photography, property marketing, financial modelling, or social media would be useful but is not essential. A full UK driving licence would also be beneficial due to the nature of the role.
Career Development
For the right person, this role could develop considerably. Our intention is not to hire someone simply to provide administrative support. We want someone who can learn the brokerage business, gradually take responsibility for transactions, and ultimately develop their own client relationships and opportunities. Depending on your interests, the role could develop towards:
- Investment brokerage
- Commercial property agency
- Hotel brokerage
- Healthcare real estate
- Valuation
- Property investment
- Finance and debt advisory
- Hotel development and franchising
- Real estate development
For someone wishing to pursue a professional surveying career, Fowles & Partners would also be willing to support and fund an appropriate pathway towards RICS qualification. You will have direct exposure to live transactions and will work closely with the Managing Director rather than being several layers removed from the deals themselves.
What We Offer
- £40,000 annual salary
- Remote working
- Flexible working culture
- All business travel expenses covered
- Hotel accommodation when required for business travel
- Direct exposure to significant hospitality and healthcare real estate projects
- Opportunity to work with international hotel brands, operators, investors, and lenders
- Exposure to disposals, acquisitions, valuations, financing, and development
- Potential support and funding towards RICS qualification
- Direct mentoring and development from the Managing Director
- Genuine opportunity to develop into a broker, surveyor, or real estate professional as the business grows
Applying
If you are looking for a traditional desk-based role where every day looks the same, this probably will not be the right position.
If you want variety, responsibility, travel, direct exposure to transactions, and the opportunity to build a serious career within hospitality and healthcare real estate, we would like to hear from you.
Please send your CV together with a short introduction explaining why the role interests you and where you would like your career to develop.
