AJ Chambers are proud to be partnered with an award-winning Tier 1 Legal 500 law firm as they look to expand their high-performing property litigation team based in Hertfordshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced real estate disputes lawyer to join a well-established team focusing on high-quality and complex matters.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will proactively and independently manage a varied caseload of both residential and commercial property disputes including but not limited to:
- Advising on both freehold and leasehold issues
- Lease renewals, terminations, and breaches of lease issues
- Non-payment of rent
- Forfeiture
- Dilapidations
- Easements including rights of way
- Trespassing and nuisance claims
- Title disputes
- Service charge disputes
- Land Registry and 1st tier tribunal applications
- Co-ownership disputes

Other responsibilities:
- Ensuring adherence to court and tribunal deadlines, with consistent attention to high-quality case management.
- Assessing claims, analysing the strengths and weaknesses of defences and counterclaims, and advising clients accordingly.
- Delivering training sessions and supporting the professional development of junior staff.
- Keeping clients informed through regular reporting and maintaining transparent communication throughout case progression.
- Contributing to business development efforts and supporting the growth of the practice.
