Your Mission

This position offers you the ability to take part in the full life cycle of Fiduciam’s loans, from researching and structuring new enquiries to dealing with current clients and managing the portfolio.

As a UK Real Estate Finance Analyst, you will handle new loan enquiries, assist with the underwriting process through to completion, and ensure clients have a smooth experience. You will manage a pipeline of multiple transactions at different stages, assisting underwriters and portfolio managers. You will also visit properties, and connect with clients to grow your network, developing your understanding of the real estate, development, and bridging lending market.

From this entry position, you can steer your career towards a variety of roles including client-facing origination, underwriting, or portfolio management.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Conducting financial analysis and credit due diligence on borrowers, including cash flow, debt serviceability, and balance sheet review.
  • Assessing loan structuring metrics — LTV, LTC, gearing, and exit strategy — to support risk-adjusted lending decisions.
  • Preparing credit papers to support underwriters in assessing and approving loan applications.
  • Reviewing valuations and development appraisals alongside instructed valuers.
  • Liaising with solicitors on facility documentation and security structuring.
  • Performing AML, KYC, and compliance checks.
  • Tracking pipeline performance and maintaining accurate loan records.
  • Engaging with borrowers and their advisors to assess business plans and repayment capacity.
  • Applying sound risk judgment, underpinned by knowledge of credit policy and compliance.
  • Managing multiple transactions concurrently through to redemption.

  • Academic degree (bachelors/master) with a strong track record.
  • Excellent communication and commercial skills.
  • Outstanding project management and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of UK Real Estate (bonus not a requirement).
  • Outgoing and proactive.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Hungry to learn and push your boundaries in a growing company.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Enjoy working in an international environment.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
