Real Estate Finance Partner | London | Leading National Law Firm
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an established Real Estate Finance Partner to join a highly regarded national law firm as part of its continued strategic growth in London. The firm is looking to appoint a Partner from a strong Commercial Real Estate background who can further develop its Real Estate Finance offering and build upon an established platform.
This represents a high-quality opportunity for a Partner looking to develop a specialist Real Estate Finance practice within a well-regarded full-service firm, combining a strong commercial property platform with access to complementary expertise across the wider business.

The firm has developed a particularly strong platform in Real Estate, working with a broad range of institutional investors, developers, occupiers, lenders, and other property-focused clients across complex commercial property matters.

The firm operates as a genuinely integrated national practice, providing Partners with opportunities to work collaboratively across offices, sectors, and practice areas.
The wider Real Estate practice works closely with colleagues across Finance, Construction, Corporate, and other complementary disciplines, allowing the firm to provide clients with a comprehensive service across the property lifecycle.
The Real Estate Finance offering advises lenders, investors, developers, and property businesses on a broad range of financing matters connected to commercial and residential property, including investment and development financing, portfolio financing, refinancing, and complex secured lending.

This creates a strong platform for a Commercial Real Estate Partner looking to develop and grow a Real Estate Finance practice, with the opportunity to leverage existing relationships across the firm's property and wider commercial client base, while also bringing their own established client and market relationships to further strengthen and expand the offering.
The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Finance Partner to join the firm's growing London Real Estate practice, with a particular focus on developing its Real Estate Finance capability from a Commercial Real Estate perspective.
The successful candidate will take a leading role in developing the firm's Real Estate Finance offering, working closely with Partners and senior colleagues across the wider Real Estate and Finance teams.
You will advise a broad range of clients including developers, investors, property companies, institutions, and other commercial real estate businesses on the property aspects of financing transactions. Matters will include investment and development finance, refinancing, portfolio transactions, acquisitions, and disposals involving financing arrangements, and other complex property-backed funding structures.
The role will have a strong commercial real estate focus, making it particularly suited to a Partner who understands the property side of financing transactions and can work effectively across both real estate and finance disciplines.
As a Partner within the practice, you will have significant autonomy to develop your own client relationships and practice, supported by an established national platform and a collaborative network of colleagues across the firm.

There will be a strong emphasis on business development and growth, with the opportunity to build upon existing relationships, identify new opportunities, and work collaboratively with colleagues across Real Estate, Finance, Construction, Corporate, and other complementary areas.
This position would suit an established Commercial Real Estate Partner with a strong understanding of Real Estate Finance and an ambition to further develop this area within a growing national practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor (partner) in England & Wales with a strong track record in Commercial Real Estate, with significant experience advising on Real Estate Finance matters.
- Strong technical expertise across property-backed financing transactions, including investment, development, refinancing, and portfolio financing.
- An established client following and strong relationships across the commercial real estate, investment, development, and/or lending market.
- Proven business development and client relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and grow a successful practice.
- A collaborative approach and the ambition to play a leading role in developing the firm's Real Estate Finance offering in London.
