About The Role

An exciting opportunity for an established Real Estate Finance Partner to join HCR Law and play a key role in the continued growth of our Real Estate offering across Cambridge, Norwich, and the wider East Anglia market.

HCR has a substantial Real Estate practice covering the full lifecycle of property projects, including development, funding, commercial property, planning, and construction. The wider team is led by Philip Parkinson, Head of Real Estate, with Kelly Davies leading the firm's Real Estate Finance practice.

We are looking for a senior lawyer with strong experience in real estate finance and secured lending who wants the opportunity to develop their practice within an ambitious and collaborative national firm.

You'll work with clients across a broad range of property finance matters, with the opportunity to:

  • Lead complex real estate finance and secured lending transactions
  • Advise lenders, borrowers, developers, and investors
  • Develop and grow key client relationships
  • Generate new opportunities across Cambridge, Norwich, and the wider East Anglia market
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Corporate, Construction, and Planning
  • Help shape the future direction and growth of the Real Estate Finance offering in the region
  • Mentor and support lawyers as the team continues to grow

About You

You will need:

  • Strong technical expertise in real estate finance
  • An established network and profile within the market
  • Experience building trusted client relationships
  • A commercial and entrepreneurial approach
  • The ambition to grow a practice rather than simply inherit a caseload
  • A collaborative approach to working across teams and offices
