Real Estate Finance Solicitor – Associate / Senior Associate / Principal Associate
📍 Birmingham
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Finance Solicitor to join a highly regarded and ambitious Finance team in Birmingham.
The team acts for major domestic and international banks, alternative lenders, institutional borrowers, private equity houses and corporates on high-quality and complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
The opportunity:
- Work on major bilateral, syndicated and structured Real Estate Finance transactions
- Strong exposure to development finance
- Advise both lender and borrower clients across a range of sectors and jurisdictions
- Work alongside leading Real Estate, Construction, Corporate, Tax and international teams
- Excellent quality of work, regularly acting opposite Magic Circle, Silver Circle and major US firms
- Significant opportunity for client development and business development
- Supportive, collaborative and non-hierarchical team environment

The ideal candidate:
- Associate, Senior Associate or Principal Associate level
- Strong experience in Real Estate Finance
- Excellent knowledge of LMA documentation
- Experience acting for lenders and/or borrowers
- Commercially minded with strong drafting and negotiation skills
- At Senior Associate/Principal Associate level, an interest in supervising and coaching junior lawyers
- Hospitality, Hotels, Food & Beverage or Travel & Tourism experience would be advantageous, although not essential
