Are you a Real Estate Finance Solicitor looking to work on high value commercial property and finance transactions? This Leeds-based opportunity offers the chance to join a highly regarded in-house legal team, providing commercially focused advice across real estate, lending and investment activities while working alongside a dedicated team on complex, market-leading transactions.

  • Advising on a broad range of non-contentious commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, and asset management matters.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial property documentation.
  • Advising on real estate finance and property-backed lending transactions.
  • Drafting and negotiating finance, security, and ancillary documentation.
  • Working on transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Identifying and managing legal risks across property and finance matters.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders including Credit, Investment, Asset Management, and Direct Lending teams.
  • Providing commercially focused legal advice that supports business objectives.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external advisers.
  • Working on the development of legal precedents, templates, and internal processes.

Profile

The Real Estate Finance Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor with experience in commercial real estate and real estate finance.
  • Experienced in advising on non-contentious commercial property matters.
  • Experienced in secured lending and real estate finance transactions.
  • Skilled in drafting and negotiating commercial property, finance, and security documentation.
  • Able to manage transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working with multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience gained within private practice, an in-house legal team, or another relevant legal environment.
