We're hiring on behalf of a top-tier global institutional investor for their Real Estate Debt team in London.

This investor manages a well-diversified real estate and real estate-related portfolio spanning 40+ countries and every major sector - offices, retail, hotels, residential, industrial, and niche/company-level investments. This role sits within their credit and hybrid investments function, working across the capital structure.

What you'll do:

  • Analyse, structure, and help close new debt and hybrid deals, from due diligence through underwriting and legal documentation
  • Take the lead on financial modelling for transactions, with support from the deal lead
  • Help prepare Investment Committee papers for senior investment staff
  • Work directly with third-party managers to evaluate eligible transactions
  • Support business development, relationship management, and manager performance monitoring
  • Assist with asset management and performance monitoring of existing loan positions, ensuring accurate reporting to control functions and senior management

What we're looking for:

  • Strong university degree - finance, accounting, banking, or a STEM subject
  • Relevant experience in real estate debt financing, debt capital markets, structured finance, or corporate banking
  • Strong grasp of financial structures, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply and clearly
  • Excellent financial modelling skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg a plus
  • A collaborative, analytical mindset - comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple live deals
