An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Knowledge Lawyer in Edinburgh to support a highly regarded real estate team while helping drive firmwide knowledge management initiatives. Description

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of real estate law and industry trends.
  • Provide legal support and advice to colleagues across the legal department.
  • Draft and review standard documents, templates, and guidance notes for internal use.
  • Deliver training sessions and updates on legal developments to the team.
  • Assist with the development of legal strategies and solutions for client matters.
  • Collaborate with external legal bodies and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and case law relevant to the real estate sector.
  • Support business development activities by preparing and managing legal content.

Profile

The Real Estate Knowledge Lawyer should be:

  • A solicitor with ideally 5+ years' PQE in real estate law.
  • Experienced in delivering technical legal support, training, knowledge management, or PSL responsibilities.
  • Comfortable drafting and maintaining precedents, guidance, and technical resources.
  • Interested in legal innovation, legal technology, and knowledge management strategy.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams and senior stakeholders.
