Our Southampton Real Estate Team
Our Southampton real estate team is extremely busy with a wide range of work. You will have the opportunity to work with funds, asset managers, property companies, public bodies and occupiers investing in, developing and using UK real estate, handling high-value transactions and joining a motivated and collaborative team which deals with the whole lifecycle of asset management, estate management and development work. This particular team has a national reputation for the quality of its work and client following.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Contribute to the growth and success of the business by leading and supporting on excellent quality investment and development work.
- Take a proactive role in helping build and maintain client relationships.
- Help us to further develop our market share and brand awareness.
- Run transactions from the outset.
- Supervise and mentor others in the team to deliver those transactions for our clients.
- Be involved in business development activities.
- Contribute to an aspirational growth strategy for the team.
- Supervise more junior members of the team.

What Does the Ideal Candidate Look Like?

- An experienced technically proficient real estate lawyer with at least 3 years' post qualification experience.
- Extensive exposure to quality real estate investment work.
- Ability to add value through first class technical and commercial advice hand in hand with business and sector insight.
- Rounded knowledge of running transactions and client handling skills.
- Proven experience of dealing with transactional and landlord and tenant issues.
- Strong internal and external networking skills.
- Ideally, experience of supervising the work of others and enjoying devoting time to share your expertise through coaching and mentoring.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years post-qualified experience as an England & Wales Solicitor.
- Skilled in managing real estate investment transactions.
- Experience of working with real estate investors (whether funds, property companies, charities or private clients) and managing landlord & tenant issues.
