Overview
Our client, an international law firm, is looking for a Real Estate Lawyer with 3+ years' PQE to work on complex, high-value real estate investment and corporate transactions.
The role offers exposure to sophisticated domestic and cross-border matters for institutional investors, private equity real estate funds, developers, sovereign wealth funds and other major market participants. Corporate transactional lawyers with strong M&A and joint venture experience who want to develop their practice in the real estate sector are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Advise on the structuring, establishment, operation, restructuring and exit of real estate joint ventures and other indirect investment structures.
- Work on complex corporate M&A transactions within the real estate sector, including cross-border transactions and portfolio deals.
- Advise clients on corporate structures including companies, partnerships and property unit trusts.
- Take day-to-day responsibility for complex transactions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing key workstreams and risks.
- Advise on asset and portfolio management matters, including reorganisations, refinancings and exits.
- Develop strong client relationships and provide clear, commercially focused legal advice.
- Contribute to pitches, thought leadership, client initiatives and other business development activity.
- Supervise and develop junior lawyers and trainees.

- 3+ years' PQE with strong technical expertise in corporate real estate transactions.
- Significant experience of M&A, joint ventures and related transactional documentation.
- Experience working with a range of corporate structures and relevant jurisdictions.
- Ability to take ownership of complex matters, manage negotiations and deliver high-quality legal advice.
- Strong commercial understanding of the strategies, risks and commercial drivers affecting real estate investors.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Strong client relationship skills and a collaborative, proactive approach.
