About the job

An established international law firm is looking to strengthen its London real estate team with the addition of an ambitious associate.

The practice works with a diverse range of clients, from major property investors and developers to institutional landlords, occupiers and lenders. Its work spans the full life cycle of commercial property, from acquisitions and disposals through to development, investment and asset management. With a strong international network and an established presence in the London market, the team offers exposure to a varied workload and clients with increasingly cross-border interests.

This is an opportunity for a real estate lawyer to join a busy, well-regarded team where the quality of the work, strength of the client relationships and scope for professional development make it an attractive next step.

The Role

Working alongside experienced partners and colleagues, you will advise on a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including:

  • Acquisitions and disposals of investment properties and commercial portfolios
  • Landlord and tenant matters, including the negotiation of commercial leases
  • Development projects, from site acquisition through to delivery
  • Real estate investment structures and joint venture arrangements
  • Property finance, including secured lending and refinancing
  • Asset management work for institutional investors and property owners
  • Real estate matters arising in connection with wider corporate transactions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
