Real Estate Litigation Legal Director - Birmingham City Centre with Hybrid Working - £105,000 to £130,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A highly regarded, Legal 500-recognised national law firm is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Legal Director to join its growing Birmingham office as part of a strategic expansion within its market-leading Disputes practice. Home to one of the largest and most respected Real Estate Litigation teams in the UK, the firm advises an impressive portfolio of national and international clients and is renowned for the quality and complexity of its work. Led by a number of nationally recognised partners, the team acts on strategically significant real estate disputes for major occupiers, developers and investors, offering an exceptional opportunity for a senior lawyer to take on a leadership role within a nationally recognised practice with first-class quality work, significant autonomy and a clear platform for further career progression.
The Role:
- Leading on a broad range of complex and high-value Real Estate Litigation matters, including landlord & tenant, investment and development disputes
- Advising clients on strategically significant property disputes and real estate portfolio management issues
- Managing matters from instruction through to resolution, including court proceedings, mediation and ADR
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, correspondence and legal documentation across complex litigation matters
- Providing commercially focused, strategic advice to key clients across multiple sectors
- Building and strengthening relationships with major national and international clients
- Supervising, mentoring and developing lawyers across the wider Real Estate Litigation team
- Driving business development initiatives and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the Birmingham practice

The Candidate:
- A qualified Solicitor with ideally 10+ years' PQE in Real Estate Litigation
- Strong technical expertise across complex Real Estate Litigation and property disputes
- Experience gained within a leading regional, national or international law firm
- A proven track record advising on high-value landlord & tenant, development and investment disputes
- Commercially minded, with exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading teams, supervising lawyers and supporting the development of junior talent
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated to contribute to the ongoing growth of a leading national practice
