About the team
Freeths’ highly rated and award-winning Real Estate team comprises over 150 lawyers operating across 12 UK locations. The team advises on the full spectrum of commercial real estate matters, with a particular strength in commercial development, investment transactions, strategic land projects and complex regeneration schemes.
The team acts for a broad range of developers, investors, landowners, corporate occupiers and institutional clients on high-value and strategically important projects throughout the UK. Work regularly includes site acquisitions and disposals, development agreements, strategic land arrangements, mixed-use regeneration projects, funding matters and investment transactions. The team is recognised for delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice and building long-term relationships with clients, often acting as a trusted extension of their in-house teams.

About the role
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Managing Associate with 6 years+ PQE and strong commercial real estate experience and a particular interest in commercial development work.
The role will involve advising on a wide range of development-led transactions, including site acquisitions, strategic land arrangements, development agreements, mixed-use schemes, investment acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters and portfolio management work. The successful candidate will work closely with clients ranging from developers and investors through to major corporates and institutional organisations.
