Conveyancing Paralegal – Property | Spencer West LLP

Spencer West is hiring a Conveyancing Paralegal to join our property team, working along side a partner across a busy commercial and residential conveyancing caseload.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 1 year’s conveyancing experience across freehold and leasehold transactions
  • Can manage a large, fast-paced caseload with excellent attention to detail
  • Is confident opening and maintaining fully compliant files
  • Communicates confidently and professionally
  • Is organised, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Client/matter onboarding and opening fully compliant files using a case management system
  • Attending to post-completion formalities, including SDLT returns, Land Registry AP1s, notices and requisitions
  • Managing a high-volume caseload and ensuring matters progress efficiently
  • Supporting matters from instruction through to post-completion
  • Raising pre-contract enquiries and carrying out detailed title investigation
  • Direct liaison with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other solicitors
  • Ensuring full compliance with AML, UK Finance Handbook, and CQS requirements
  • Commercial property experience is preferred but not essential
