Ryder Reid Legal is seeking a bright and ambitious Real Estate Paralegal to join a prestigious US law firm on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a minimum 2:1 degree and 6-12 months' legal work experience to gain exposure to high-quality real estate and real estate finance transactions.

Working within a small team you will play a key role supporting lawyers on a broad range of property matters, including due diligence, Land Registry searches, lease reviews, transaction management, real estate finance transactions, and completion processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting real estate due diligence and title investigations
  • Reviewing and abstracting leases
  • Undertaking Land Registry and other property-related searches
  • Preparing due diligence reports, lease summaries, and transaction documents
  • Managing data rooms and transaction trackers
  • Supporting property acquisitions, disposals, and real estate finance transactions
  • Assisting with transaction closings and completion processes
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, agents, and external counsel
  • Supporting KYC, AML, and compliance requirements

About You:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree and 6-12 months' relevant work experience
  • Previous exposure to real estate and/or real estate finance matters
  • Knowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentation
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a close-knit team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
