Planning Associate
A leading international law firm is looking to strengthen its Real Estate team with the appointment of a Planning Associate in London. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded planning practice, advising a broad range of clients on complex planning matters across major development, regeneration and infrastructure projects. The role would suit a planning lawyer looking to work on high-value, strategically important matters within a market-leading team.
Responsibilities
- Advising developers, investors, landowners and public sector clients on a broad range of planning matters.
- Advising on planning applications, appeals, agreements and other aspects of the development process.
- Supporting clients on major residential, commercial, regeneration and infrastructure projects.
- Working alongside colleagues across Real Estate, Projects and Infrastructure on complex developments.
- Developing strong client relationships and contributing to business development opportunities.

Qualifications
- UK-qualified solicitor with relevant planning law experience.
- Experience across a range of contentious and/or non-contentious planning matters.
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system and development process.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice.
- Strong drafting, communication and negotiation skills.
