Firm profile

Gunnercooke is a Top 75 law firm recognised for over 90 industry awards. Launched in 2010, the firm has rapidly grown to over 500 lawyers across 15 global offices in the UK, US, Germany, and Austria. Our breadth of expertise covers some of the most interesting and important emerging disciplines, from ESG and charity law to blockchain and competition.

Due to continued success, we are seeking the addition of a Real Estate and Real Estate Finance Solicitor to join a high calibre, growing team in London.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Real Estate & Real Estate Finance team, renowned for its expertise in the specialist secured lending sector.

We are looking to expand the team through the hire of an ambitious and entrepreneurially minded Real Estate / Real Estate Finance Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE to join our very busy team which is headed up by three Partners and a wider team of solicitors.

The immediate team’s principal clients are specialist property finance (bridging and development) lenders and receivers, who they support in respect of unregulated loan originations and recoveries.

The role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and growing team who have an appetite to develop and build strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
