Role Description
The Lettings Negotiator is a full-time, on-site role based in Belfast, responsible for managing and coordinating residential lettings from initial enquiry through to move-in. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Liaising with landlords and tenants
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Handling rental applications
- Supporting the negotiation of tenancy terms

The role also involves:
- Preparing and processing tenancy documentation
- Maintaining accurate property records
- Ensuring that all lettings activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies
The Lettings Negotiator will provide proactive customer service, respond to queries efficiently, and work closely with the wider estate agency team to meet targets and deliver a high-quality, seamless experience for all parties.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge or demonstrable interest in landlord/tenant matters and residential lettings processes.
- Experience working within an estate agents or real estate environment, or transferable sales/negotiation experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and manage expectations with diverse clients.
- Understanding of property management practices, including basic tenancy administration and record-keeping.
- Proven customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and timely problem-solving.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working on-site in Belfast, with flexibility to attend appointments and viewings as required.
- Basic IT proficiency (email, CRM systems, property portals, Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn new tools.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous.
- Previous experience in lettings, property, or a client-facing role is preferred but not essential; training can be provided.
