Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Real Estate Rental Agent role based in Bothwell. The Real Estate Rental Agent will manage rental properties, including listing homes, arranging viewings, and guiding prospective tenants through the application process. Daily tasks include liaising with landlords and tenants, responding to inquiries, conducting property inspections, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs. The role also involves preparing tenancy documentation, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the resolution of landlord/tenant matters in a fair and compliant manner. The agent will collaborate with the wider team to ensure high standards of customer service and smooth property management operations.

Qualifications

- Experience with landlord/tenant matters and a solid understanding of relevant rental regulations and best practices.
- Background in estate agency work, including letting processes, property marketing, and negotiation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of property management, including inspections, maintenance coordination, and tenancy administration.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and property management systems; ability to learn new software as needed.
- Ability to work on-site, travel locally for property viewings and inspections, and hold a valid driver’s license where required.
- Previous experience in real estate, lettings, or a related customer-facing role is preferred but not strictly required.
